First of all, at the time of publishing this article, Mini SE has not yet been listed on the official DJI online store in the United States. Moreover, the original Mavic Mini has also been removed. In short, Mini SE is a cheap version of the original Mini first released in 2019. In other words, this “special edition” drone uses a more advanced Mini 2 shell and is equipped with a Mini 2 shell intelligent flight battery.
Currently, you can go to Walmart or BestBuy to buy cheap drones with a maximum flight time of 30 minutes and a high-definition transmission range of 4 kilometers. Its three-axis mechanically stabilized camera can shoot 12 MP still images and 2.7K HD resolution video.
The United States is considered to be one of the first regions to launch the Mini SE, because this drone appeared in the Wal-Mart listing in early June. However, it wasn’t until the end of the month that the drone was discovered in the wild-also in the Southeast Asian market.
